My father told me in my early 20's that I should be a Realtor®. I didn't listen. I wanted to help people. I was going to be a teacher and for more than a decade I was an educator. Teaching brought great joy to my life.

After a little over three years of working as the residential manager for Gilliland Realty, a well established commercial brokerage, Joe Gilliland approached me and asked me if I would like to set up an entirely separate company and be the principal broker.
